Vörösmarty Square Christmas Market - Budapest, Hungary
The Christmas spirit sparkles in this scenic square. This open-air market is full of delightful gift items, delicious Hungarian and international food but the must-try is the Kürtöskalács, or chimney cake, a traditional Hungarian pastry that is wrapped around a wooden spool and slowly turned over an open fire.

Rathausplatz Market - Vienna, Austria
A tall arched gateway with candles receives visitors at the entrance to the Christmas Market in Rathausplatz and the trees along the Ringstrasse boulevard radiate a festive glow. This is Vienna’s largest Christmas market with around 120 stalls but this doesn't mean it's lost its beauty, offering Christmas gifts and Christmas tree decorations, handicrafts, confectionery and warming drinks including glühwein - a traditional Austrian drink made of wine, cinnamon and sugar.
