Overview

Tuscany knows how to charm, and it won’t take you long to be under its spell. On this seven-night trip, you’ll stay in a 4-star hotel set in parkland located on the outskirts of Lucca. The famous town of Pisa is only 20 kms away where the legendary Leaning Tower and UNESCO-listed piazza is waiting for you.

Visiting Pisa you will learn more about the city on an introductory walking tour, then embark on daily excursions to explore the best of wider Tuscany. Tour the Cinque Terre by boat, admiring its cobalt coastline, charming villages and craggy cliffs from the water.

Step back in time in Florence to discover the birthplace of the Renaissance – where Michelangelo, Botticelli and Leonardo da Vinci all left their mark – then visit Vinci, where the namesake artist spent his childhood.

Venture to Lucca to explore its medieval remnants and Roman-era ruins, and take in Siena, whose black and white striped marble interiors are some of the most striking in all of Italy. Taste local wines and Tuscan specialities at a picture-book vineyard, and visit San Gimignano – a walled, medieval town nestled in the hills, famous for its unique tower houses.

Along the way, uncover the tales of the region with expertise from your guide, and see for yourself why these unrivalled landscapes have long inspired some of the world’s greatest artists.
