River Cruises to Egypt

Home of the pyramids, pharaohs, and a history of biblical proportions, Egypt is a country as rich in culture and heritage as it is mysterious and alluring. Our action-packed cruises in Egypt are a true feast for the senses. Travellers have been enthralled by Egypt for centuries and our Nile river cruises will show you why. All you have to do is decide which Nile cruise to choose.

Where does a Nile go?

Each of our Nile river cruises offers you a different itinerary. Whichever you choose, you’ll be enthralled by all that Egypt has to offer. Many of our cruises in Egypt travel to Luxor, Edfu, Cairo, Kom Ombo and Aswan, allowing you explore the spellbinding sites of the colossal pyramids, the Sphinx at Giza, the hieroglyph-lined Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings tombs in Luxor.

What excursions are there during a Nile cruises?

The 600-Mile Nile cruise affords passengers 12 nights aboard the Mövenpick MS Darakum and offers a comprehensive tour of Egypt and its ancient history, including less-visited sites such as Amarna. Similarly, our Original Nile Cruise lets passengers discover the treasures of Tutankhamun, as well as explore the labyrinth streets of Old Cairo. Other Nile river cruises, such as the Treasures of the Nile, combine temples and tombs, with cocktails at sunset.

Whichever one of our cruises in Egypt you choose, we guarantee you’ll be enraptured by your surroundings.

What accommodation can I expect on a Nile?

Whichever Nile cruise you choose, you will experience life on board a truly luxurious vessel, designed to navigate the Nile’s waters as well as offer passengers the best vistas.

The Mövenpick MS Darakum has a Moroccan-inspired interior, with elegant touches, allowing you to relax and unwind in true opulence in one of its 52 cabins. The SS Misr, ‘the most luxurious steamship on the Nile’ on the other hand, is a much smaller vessel with only 24 private cabins. Expertly designed with modern comforts throughout, the SS Misr was originally constructed by the Royal Navy in 1918.

On our Pyramids and the Nile cruise you’ll get to experience life aboard the deluxe 5-star vessel - Mövenpick MS Hamees; the 70 air-conditioned cabins offer the perfect place to relax after a hard day’s exploring.

What facilities are there on a Nile cruise vessel?

All our Nile cruise vessels have been handpicked to ensure you enjoy only the finest experience as you explore Egypt.
